A. A community, hospital, or limited-service pharmacy permittee shall give the Board:
1.
Notice by mail, facsimile, or electronic mail within ten days of employing or
terminating a pharmacist; and
2.
Immediate notice of designating or terminating a
pharmacist-in-charge.
B. Responsibility of ownership and management. The owner and management of a pharmacy shall:
1. Ensure that pharmacists,
interns, and other pharmacy employees comply with state and federal laws and
administrative rules; and
2. Not
overrule a pharmacist in matters of pharmacy ethics and interpreting laws
pertaining to the practice of pharmacy or the distribution of drugs and
devices.
C. The Board may suspend or revoke a pharmacy permit if the owner or management of a pharmacy violates subsection (B).
