Section R4-12-415 - Continuing Education Determinations

A. To obtain a Board determination that continuing education satisfies the requirements of A.R.S. § 32-1338 and R4-12-413, a licensee or registrant shall submit a written request to the Board before submission of a renewal application.
B. A request under subsection (A) shall contain:
1. A brief summary of the continuing
education;
2. The date and place
where the continuing education was provided;
3. The number of credit hours of the
continuing education;
4. The name
of the individual providing the continuing education, if available;
and
5. The name of the organization
providing the continuing education, if applicable.
C. In making the continuing education determination, the Board shall consider whether the continuing education:
1. Is designed to provide current
developments, skills, and procedures related to funeral practices;
2. Is developed and provided by an individual
with knowledge and experience in the subject area; and
3. Contributes directly to the professional
competence of the licensee or registrant.
