Section R14-2-2415 - Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research

A. An affected utility shall monitor and evaluate each DSM program and DSM measure to:
1. Ensure compliance with the
cost-effectiveness requirements of
R14-2-2412;
2. Determine participation rates, energy
savings, and demand reductions;
3.
Assess the implementation process for the DSM program or DSM measure;
4. Obtain information on whether to continue,
modify, or terminate a DSM program or DSM measure; and
5. Determine the persistence and reliability
of the affected utility's DSM.
B. An affected utility may conduct evaluation and research, such as market studies, market research, and other technical research, for DSM program planning, product development, and DSM program improvement.
