7 AAC 100.190 - Family Medicaid qualifying income standards

(a) The department will determine a Family Medicaid household's income eligibility under 7 AAC 100.180 and Under-21 household eligibility under 7 AAC 100.252 and 7 AAC 100.254 by using the following qualifying income standards:

(1) adult-included standards, used when the household includes only one caretaker relative:

(2) adult-not-included, child-only standards, used when no caretaker relative is included in the household; household size is the total number of dependent children who are included in the household:

(b) The qualifying income standards set out in (a) of this section are adjusted each year by a percentage increase equal to the cost-of-living percentage increase in SSI benefits for that year. An increase in the standards under this subsection takes effect on the same day as the commensurate cost-of-living increase in SSI benefits.
