7 AAC 86.090 - Definitions

(a) In AS 18.23.400, "plain language" means grammatically correct language that includes accurate word usage and communicates in a way that helps the public to easily understand the information.

(b) As used in the definition of "health care service" in AS 18.23.400(n), "telemedicine" means the practice of health care delivery, evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, or treatment, using the transfer of medical data through audio, video, or data communications that are engaged in over two or more locations between providers who are physically separated from the patient or from each other.
