7 AAC 56.230 - Level I child placing worker qualifications

(a) An agency shall ensure level I child placing workers at least meet one of the following qualifications:
(1) a bachelor's degree in a
human services field from an accredited college or university;
(2) 60 semester hours of college credit or an
associate degree in a human services field from an accredited college or
university and one year of supervised child placing experience;
(3) a high school diploma or general
educational development diploma and three years of supervised child placing
experience;
(4) a high school
diploma or general equivalency degree and direct supervision from a person
meeting one of the above qualifications.
(b) Child placement decisions made by a worker who does not meet level II qualifications as specified in 7 AAC 56.220 must be approved by a level II child placing worker.
(c) A child placing worker must be an individual who is at least 21 years old.
