7 AAC 45.529 - Standard heating and utility allowance

(a) If an applicant provides evidence that the assistance unit incurs a direct, itemized cost at least annually for the purchase of electricity, fuel oil, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, coal, wood, or other fuel as the assistance unit's principal source of home heating energy, the applicant may choose to have the standard heating and utility allowance in (c) of this section allowed as the assistance unit's total monthly utility costs under 7 AAC 45.528(a) (5). If the assistance unit's total utility costs, including costs incurred for heating, are not determined under this section, they will be determined under 7 AAC 45.530.

(b) Repealed 1/7/2005.

(c) The standard heating and utility allowance is determined by applying the following regional standards:
