7 AAC 45.200 - Disposition of application

(a) The department will make a finding of eligibility for every complete application for ATAP benefits that it receives, unless

(1) the applicant voluntarily withdraws the application by a written request that is signed and dated;

(2) the department has factual information confirming the death of the applicant; or

(3) the applicant cannot be located.

(b) For the purposes of this section, an applicant cannot be located if

(1) the post office returns mail sent to the mailing address shown on the application and indicates no known forwarding address;

(2) the applicant has not reported a new address; and

(3) reasonable attempts to locate the applicant by using information on the application have failed.
