7 AAC 41.322 - Family rights.

A family applying for or participating in the child care assistance program has the right to

(1) unlimited access to the family's children and the providers caring for die family's children, during the providers' normal hours of operation and whenever children are in the providers' care;

(2) request and access information from the department regarding a child care provider's compliance with licensing or approval requirements, public reports of inspections or investigations, and any quality measures;

(3) discuss any action taken on its application or case with a caseworker or the caseworker's supervisor; and

(4) request a hearing under 7 AAC 49 if the family disagrees with a decision made by the department or designee that denies, reduces, suspends, or terminates the family's benefits.
