7 AAC 05.960 - Certified copies

Subject to provisions on disclosure of records, the bureau and local recorders of vital records shall issue upon request a certified copy of all or part of a certificate or record in their custody, or an uncertified copy, or such other information as requested, in accordance with instructions issued by the State Registrar. Any such copy issued shall show the date of registration or recording; and where pertinent shall be marked "Delayed," "Amended," or "Court Order," and show the effective date. A copy of any amended certificate shall show both the original and changed entries, exactly as a photocopy would show them. Authorities and evidence noted on amended certificates shall be shown on such copies, in the manner determined by the State Registrar.
