If the presumption of death is established by the district magistrate's court, the district magistrate shall be responsible for completing the certificate and filing it with the proper recording magistrate. Where the presumption of death is established by the superior court, the clerk of court shall be responsible for completing and filing the certificate with the proper recording magistrate. The State Registrar in cooperation with the Alaska Court System shall issue instructions concerning the use, filling out, and filing of presumptive death certificates; and procedures relating to new information subsequent thereto.
