Local registrars shall make such other reports to the bureau as required by the State Registrar for the carrying out of the provisions of the Vital Statistics Act, related laws, regulations, and instructions. The local registrars and deputy local registrars appointed under AS 18.50.080 of the Vital Statistics Act shall serve at the pleasure of the State Registrar and may be removed by him.
