(a) In this section, the phrase "General hunt only" means that there is a general hunt for residents, but no subsistence hunt, during the relevant open season. Hunting seasons and bag limits for bison are as follows: Resident Open Season (Subsistence and Nonresident Units and Bag Limits General Hunts) Open Season (1) Unit 11, drainages of the Sept. 6 - Nov. 30 Sept. 6 - Nov. 30 Chitina River east (General hunt only) of the Chakina River and south and east of the Nizina River 1 bison every 10 regulatory years by drawing permit only; up to 12 permits will be issued Unit 11, east of the Copper Sept. 1 - Mar. 31 Sept. 1 - Mar. 31 River, south of the (General hunt only) Klawasi River, and west of a line from Mount Sanford to Mount Wrangell to Long Glacier, and west of the Kotsina River, and that portion of Unit 13(D) east of the Edgerton Highway 1 bison every 10 regulatory years by drawing permit only; up to 50 permits may be issued. (2) Unit 19 Aug. 22 - Oct. 10 Aug. 22 - Oct. 10 (General hunt only) Mar. 1 - Mar. 31 Mar. 1 - Mar. 31 (General hunt only) 1 bison every 10 regulatory years by drawing permit only; up to 100 permits will be issued (3) Unit 20(D) July 1 - June 30 July 1 - June 30 (General hunt only) 1 bison every 10 regulatory years by drawing permit, except that a bison wearing a radio collar of the kind specified by the department in the permit may not be taken; up to 200 permits will be issued
