5 AAC 01.400 - Description of Alaska Peninsula Area
The Alaska Peninsula Area consists of all waters of Alaska on the north side of the Alaska Peninsula southwest of a line from Cape Menshikof (57º 28.34' N. lat., 157º 55.84' W. long.) to Cape Newenham (58º 39.00' N. lat., 162º W. long.) and east of the longitude of Cape Sarichef Light (164º 55.70' W. long.) and on the south side of the Alaska Peninsula from a line extending from Scotch Cap through the easternmost tip of Ugamak Island to a line extending 135º southeast from Kupreanof Point (55º 33.98' N. lat., 159º 35.88' W. long.).
At its February 23 - 27, 1993 meeting, the Board of Fisheries readopted 5 AAC 01.400 in its entirety without change, under ch. 1, SSSLA 1992 (the 1992 subsistence law), which repealed and reenacted AS 16.05.258.
