5 AAC 01.625 - Waters closed to subsistence fishing

(a) All tributaries of the Copper River and waters of the Copper River that are not in the Upper Copper River District are closed to the taking of salmon.
(b) Salmon may not be taken in any area closed to commercial salmon fishing unless permitted in 5 AAC 01.610 - 5 AAC 01.645.
(c) The following waters are closed to the taking of whitefish with gillnet gear:
(1)
Lake Louise, north of a line from 62º 21.24' N. lat., 146º 38.14' W.
long. to 62º 21.43' N. lat., 146º 37.56' W. long.;
(2) Susitna Lake, east of a line from
62º 21.38' N. lat., 146º 38.31' W. long. to 62º 21.72' N. lat.,
146º 38.24' W. long. and east of a line from 62º 28.58' N. lat.,
146º 40.57' W. long. to 62º 28.36' N. lat., 146º 40.52' W.
long.;
(3) Tyone Lake, south and
west of a line from 62º 28.86' N. lat., 146º 39.95' W. long, to
62º 28.79' N. lat., 146º 39.66' W. long.
