The Cook Inlet Area includes all waters of Alaska enclosed by a line extending east from Cape Douglas (58º 51.10' N. lat.) and a line extending south from Cape Fairfield (148º 50.25' W. long.), excluding all waters of the Upper Susitna River drainage upstream of the Susitna River's confluence with the Oshetna River.
At its November 8 - 20, 1992 meeting, the Board of Fisheries readopted 5 AAC 01.550 in its entirety without change, under ch. 1, SSSLA 1992 (the 1992 subsistence law), which repealed and reenacted AS 16.05.258.
