4 AAC 18.900 - Definitions

(a) "Immediate family" as used in AS 14.14.140 means
(1) husband and wife;
(2) father and son, or daughter;
(3) mother and son, or daughter;
(4) brother and sister.
(b) In AS 14.20.150 (pertaining to acquisition of tenure right), "three full school years" means
(1) three consecutive school years of
service, regardless of the number of hours per day, or days per week or per
month actually taught, for a person employed for full school terms, as set by
AS
14.03.030, under a contract required by this
chapter; or
(2) a combination of
sequential fractions of consecutive school years which equal three full school
terms, regardless of the number of hours per day, or days per week or per month
actually taught, for a person employed for less than full school terms, as set
by AS
14.03.030, under a contract required by this
chapter.
