20 AAC 30.270 - Grant limitations

(a) The council will award a limited number of individual fellowship grants. A grant recipient is not required to provide a match.
(b) The recipient of a grant must
(1) expend grant money only on activities
related directly to the purposes set out in
20 AAC 30.240;
(2) maintain, throughout the grant award
year, residency in the state in compliance with the requirements of
AS
01.10.055;
(3) maintain complete financial records
reflecting the expenditure of all grant money within the award period;
and
(4) submit a completed
fellowship report.
(c) The council will not award an individual fellowship grant if a grant application
(1) proposes a collaborative
project; or
(2) is submitted by an
individual who will be a student during the period of the grant.
Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the Alaska State Council on the Arts readopted 20 AAC 30.270 to affirm the validity of that section after statutory amendments made in ch. 30, SLA 2010. Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).
