20 AAC 05.827 - Designation of significant and minor hardship classifications for the Kodiak food and bait herring fisheries

(a) The commission designates the priority classifications 26 - 30 as classifications of applicants for the Kodiak (K) food and bait herring gillnet and seine combined fishery who would suffer significant economic hardship if they do not get a permit from the state, who will receive entry permits as required by AS 16.43.270(a).
(b) The commission designates the priority classifications 0 - 10 as classifications of applicants for the Kodiak (K) food and bait herring gillnet and seine combined fishery who would suffer only minor economic hardship without the issuance of a permit from the state, and an entry permit originally issued to those applicants by the commission under AS 16.43.250(c) will have certain restrictions placed upon the transfer of the permit as required by AS 16.43.170(e).
(c) The commission designates the priority classifications 60 - 82 as classifications of applicants for the Kodiak (K) food and bait herring trawl fishery who would suffer significant economic hardship if they do not get a permit from the state, who will receive entry permits as required by AS 16.43.270(a).
(d) The commission designates the priority classifications 0 - 25 as classifications of applicants for the Kodiak (K) food and bait herring trawl fishery who would suffer only minor economic hardship without the issuance of a permit from the state, and an entry permit originally issued to those applicants by the commission under AS 16.43.250(c) will have certain restrictions placed upon the transfer of the permit as required by AS 16.43.170(e).
