18 AAC 72.946 - Inspection fee waiver

(a) The department may waive a fee for an inspection under this chapter if the department finds
(1) after conducting an inspection in
response to a complaint, that the complaint was unfounded;
(2) that a public health or environmental
emergency exists, and that an inspection at no cost to the permittee is needed
to meet the emergency;
(3) that an
inspection is necessary to prevent a public health or environmental emergency,
and that charging a fee for that inspection would not be in the public
interest; or
(4) that the cost of
the inspection is covered by the fees in
18 AAC 72.956 or
18 AAC 72.957.
(b) A circumstance listed in (a) of this section does not constitute an automatic fee waiver.
