17 AAC 95.010 - Procurement

(a) The provisions of this chapter establish policies, authority, and guidelines relating to the procurement, management, and control of supplies, equipment, services, construction, office or other space leases, personal property, and professional services by the authority, and are intended to achieve maximum uniformity of procurement practices throughout the authority.

(b) In procuring the items described in (a) of this section, the authority will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, marital status, pregnancy, parenthood, disability, or political affiliation.

(c) The authority may use the state contractors mailing lists maintained under 2 AAC 12.060. The authority will refer individuals or firms desiring to be placed on a state contractors list to the appropriate agency for application procedures.
