For purposes of this chapter, the following documents are adopted by reference:

(1) the Alaska Traffic Manual,2005, consisting of the

(A) Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2003, including Revision No. 1 dated November 2004, issued by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration; and

(B) department's Alaska Traffic Manual Supplement,dated December 22, 2005;

(2) the department's publication Federal Aid Highways: Interstate, Primary, and Secondary Highways of Alaska,dated November 1, 2000;

(3) the Rental Rate Blue Book for Construction Equipment,Vol. 1, dated 2001, published by Intertec Publishing Corporation; the publication in this paragraph is adopted by reference for the sole purpose of determining equipment and vehicle costs for the removal of outdoor advertising located within or outside of highway rights-of-way under 17 AAC 20.012 and 17 AAC 20.013.

The Alaska Traffic Manual, adopted by reference in 17 AAC 20.950, may be viewed at the regional offices of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau. Copies of the Alaska Traffic Manual Supplement may be obtained by writing the Division of Statewide Design and Engineering Services, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, 3132 Channel Drive, Juneau, Alaska 99801-7898.
