13 AAC 63.010 - 13 AAC 63.130 and 13 AAC 63.900, which were adopted by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and which took effect 4/29/89, are based upon former 7 AAC 30.005 - 7 AAC 30.190, which were repealed on that date by the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS). Responsibility for the state's breath and blood alcohol testing program was transferred from DHSS to DPS by Executive Order No. 67, effective July 1, 1987.
