12 AAC 70.110 - Verification of work experience

(a) An applicant's qualifying work experience must be verified by one or more individuals, on forms provided by the department, and, for an applicant for certification as a general real estate appraiser or a residential real estate appraiser, a log submitted by the applicant of appraisal work performed. If an applicant cannot, for good cause, provide work experience verification forms one or more individuals, the board may consider and approve other kinds of work experience verification.

(b) The board will accept a work experience verification form only if it is notarized and has been completed by

(1) a licensed construction contractor;

(2) a federal or state regulated lender;

(3) a present or former employer of the applicant;

(4) an officer of a state or federal agency; or

(5) an officer of a company that customarily uses the services of a real estate appraiser who has recent knowledge of the applicant's experience on that company's behalf.

(c) Repealed 12/13/94.

(d) Repealed 12/13/94.

(e) At the request of the board, an applicant for certification as a general real estate appraiser or a residential real estate appraiser shall submit a copy of the work product from any appraisal performed by the applicant and included in the log of appraisals submitted under (a) of this section.
