12 AAC 44.710 - Violations

(a) A nurse, who after a hearing under the Administrative Procedure Act (AS 44.62), is found to have violated a provision of AS 08.68 or 12 AAC 44, is subject to the disciplinary penalties listed in AS 08.01.075 and AS 08.68.275, including public notice of the violation and penalty in appropriate publications.

(b) Nothing in the guidelines set out in 12 AAC 44.720 prohibits the board from imposing greater or lesser penalties than those described in 12 AAC 44.720 or restricting the practice of a nurse depending upon the circumstances of a particular case.
