12 AAC 40.987 - Retention of abandoned applications

(a) An application that is abandoned under 12 AAC 02.910 will be retained on file in the department for at least 10 years after the date of abandonment. If an applicant with an abandoned application reapplies for a permit or license, that abandoned application will be returned to the board for review and consideration.

(b) The application of an applicant who has been issued a temporary permit before abandoning the application under 12 AAC 02.910 will be reported to the Federation of State Medical Boards as denied without prejudice.
