12 AAC 18.113 - Clinical supervisor requirements for a licensing period that begins after June 30, 2026

For a licensing period that begins after June 30, 2026,

(1) clinical supervision may only be provided by a clinical social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist who

(A) has not less than three years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist;

(B) holds an unrestricted license to practice clinical social work, psychology, or psychiatry in the state or other licensing jurisdiction during the period of supervision; and

(C) has completed not less than six hours of continuing education in supervision or supervisory practices; and

(2) a clinical supervisor shall complete an additional six hours of continuing education in supervision or supervisory practices during each biennial licensing period.
