(a) A certified direct-entry midwife shall have written back-up arrangements that must include procedures concerning
(1) alternate midwife
assistance for clients in the certified direct-entry midwife's absence;
and
(2) abnormal conditions and
medically indicated maternal or infant consultations;
(3) repealed 3/2/2011.
(b) A certified direct-entry midwife shall present the written back-up arrangements to the board upon request.
