12 AAC 14.300 - Examination

(a) The examination required for certification as a direct-entry midwife is the national examination prepared and graded by the North American Registry of Midwives. The national examination required under this subsection for certification is
(b) An applicant for certification as a direct-entry midwife must submit a certified true copy of the results of the national examination specified in (a) of this section showing that the applicant has received a passing score on the national examination.
(c) In order to be scheduled for an examination, the following items must be received by the division's Juneau office from the applicant:

Information regarding the examination may be obtained by contacting the division of corporations, business and professional licensing offices in Anchorage and Juneau.
