12 AAC 09.107 - Temporary permits

(a) A request for a temporary permit must be made on an application for licensure form provided by the department. The application must include
(1) verification of
a current license to practice barbering, non-chemical barbering, hairdressing,
hair braiding, manicuring, esthetics, body piercing, tattooing, or permanent
cosmetic coloring issued by another state; and
(2) the application fee, license fee, and
temporary permit fee specified in
12 AAC 02.140.
(b) In accordance with AS 08.13.170, a temporary permit is valid until the board acts on the application for a permanent license which it must do within six months.
