Chapter 53 - Records, Surveys, and Platting

Before March 27, 1980, the chapter heading of 11 AAC 53 was "Zoning." As of that date, all provisions in the chapter were superseded by provisions on records, surveys, and platting, and the provisions on zoning were moved to 11 AAC 91, distributed in Register 73. The history notes following the sections of the new Chapter 53 have no relationship to the former sections. Many provisions in the new Chapter 53 were based on former provisions in 11 AAC 62.260 - 11 AAC 62.300, 11 AAC 62.640, 11 AAC 64.500 - 11 AAC 64.560, 11 AAC 68, and 11 AAC 70.
