Unless otherwise notified by a hearing officer, discovery under DHA will be generally governed by the discovery rules of the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure. Exception may be taken to them, however, by a hearing officer considering the nature of the case, burden on the parties, the need for expeditious review of cases, as well as the just determination of all issues.
