Section 800-6-3-.02 - Allocation To Nonparticipating Employer

The Board shall disburse monthly to each employer whose employees have elected not to participate in PEEHIP the state allocation for each eligible individual and such amount shall be used to purchase hospital/medical coverage as approved by election of the majority of such employees. Such allocation may not be used to purchase optional coverage except that provided by PEEHIP. Any such employer not participating in the basic hospital/medical plan shall certify to the PEEHIP administrative staff the names of its employees otherwise electing hospital/medical coverage and shall monthly recertify such names or certify that such persons are still due the state allocation and shall identify such persons who are no longer eligible for the state allocation.
