Section 800-2-2-.04 - Service Credit

Service shall be credited in units of months and years. Twelve months of full-time service shall be necessary to constitute one year of service. A complete month of full-time service shall be required for a month's service credit, provided that upon initial employment and upon termination of employment or upon official interruption of service a month's service credit shall be credited if the employee has contributed and worked continuously and full-time for at least one-half of the month. Other service shall be prorated.
