Chapter 800-1-8 - ALABAMA TEACHERS' GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE PLAN
Section 800-1-8-.02 - Persons Covered

All active contributing members of the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama shall be covered by this plan during the period of such active contributing membership. For the purposes of this plan an individual shall become an active contributing member of the Teachers' Retirement System on the first day in pay status in a position eligible for participation in the Teachers' Retirement System and shall cease to be an active contributing member upon the member's retirement, application for refund of contributions, or otherwise upon the expiration of ninety (90) days following his last day in pay status.
