Section 800-1-2-.02 - Contributions

(1) All monies earned by members of the Teachers' Retirement System in a calendar year are subject to contribution to the Teachers' Retirement System.

(2) The value of $4,000 has been fixed on a house provided by an educational institution to an employee of the institution. Member contributions are required from those individuals furnished a house on the employer's premises, for the employer's convenience and as a condition of employment. This is effective with the 1978-79 school year and is not retroactive.

(3) Member contributions are required on housing allowances paid to members of the Teachers' Retirement System. This applies only to employees of institutions which have a history of providing housing to employees.
