Section 660-5-31-.03 - Termination Of Homemaker Services For Children

(1) If terminations or reductions are necessary due to funding reductions, the persons most recently authorized will be the first terminated or reduced unless this is a protective service case.
(2) Homemaker Services are to be terminated:
(a) When goals of service have
been achieved;
(b) When there is a
joint decision that the family has reached a point at which Homemaker Services
for Children can no longer be helpful;
(c) When there is mutual recognition that the
parents/relatives are becoming unnecessarily dependent upon the service, and
are able to manage without the service, and continuation would impede
independent functioning;
(d) When,
because of physical danger, contagious disease or disrespectful treatment, the
homemaker's well-being is in jeopardy; or
(e) When circumstances in the household
change and another plan must be made for the care of the children.
