Section 660-5-30-.01 - Purpose

The termination of parental rights (TPR) is one avenue towards achieving permanence for children, and TPR should be pursued when there is a reasonable expectation that permanency can be achieved. This policy provides procedural guidelines for TPR which creates the possibility for a new parental relationship and permanent family.
