If for any reason, a license is not renewed, the Board shall notify the license holder in writing that the license has expired and the licensee shall immediately cease practice as an Occupational Therapist or as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and not resume practice until such time as a renewed license is issued by the Board. Such notice shall be sent to the last known address of the licensee and shall be mailed certified, return receipt requested.
