Any hearing conducted by the Board pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Uniform Controlled Substances Act, Code of Ala. 1975, §§ 20-2-1, shall be considered a contested case under the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act Code of Ala. 1975, §§ 41-22-1 and shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of that act, and the rules and regulations set out in Chapter 6, except that any appeal from the decision of the Board shall be governed by the provisions of Code of Ala. 1975, § 20-2-53 as amended by Act 2002-140.
