Section 540-X-1-.02 - Officers Of The Board

(1) The Board shall elect from its members a chairman and a vice chairman. The election of officers shall be held annually.
(2) The duties of the officers shall be as follows:
(a) The chairman shall preside at
meetings of the Board and appoint members to serve on such committees as may be
created. No Board member may be appointed to the Credentials Committee if the
member is serving on any board of any malpractice insurance company or health
insurance company to which the member owes a fiduciary duty.
(b) The vice chairman shall preside in the
absence of the chairman and shall assume the duties of the chairman when
necessary.
