An emergency medical provider service (ground or air) shall contact the OEMS prior to deploying or sending any Alabama permitted ambulances to another state(s) to fulfill obligations of a state, federal, or private contract or agreement for a disaster.

Rule 420-2-1-.17 was repealed as per certification Filed March 20, 2001; effective April 24, 2001. As a result of this Rule 420-2-1-.18 was renumbered to 420-2-1-.17. Rule 420-2-1-.17 was renumbered 420-2-1-.25 as per certification Filed February 20, 2019; effective April 7, 2019.
