Section 380-X-4-.06 - Active Duty Military Spouse

A forester licensed in another state whose spouse is active duty military and who seeks an Alabama license shall have the initial license fee waived upon filing with the Board a completed application, a certificate of licensure from a qualifying state (Code of Ala. 1975, § 34-12-11(2)), and proof of the spouse's active duty military service. Upon review of the materials submitted, the Executive Director has the authority to conditionally approve registration and the forester may begin to work in Alabama pending formal approval of the application by the Board. At the next Board meeting, the Board will review the application and vote to determine whether the forester will remain registered in Alabama.
