Chapter 300-4-11 - ALL ALABAMA ACADEMIC TEAM RECOGNITION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM REGULATIONS
Section 300-4-11-.05 - Disbursement Of Funds

(1) The Alabama Commission on Higher Education shall monitor the dollar amount of each scholarship award and shall submit a voucher to the State Comptroller each term payments are due eligible students.

(2) The State Comptroller shall prepare a check payable to the approved institution for credit to each eligible student listed on a scholarship certification roster that will accompany each check. Such checks and certification rosters with the amount of the scholarship indicated for each eligible student shall be forwarded to the institution for credit to the eligible student(s). No later than sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the check, the approved institution shall credit the account(s) of the eligible student(s) and return the completed certification roster to the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

(3) If a student whose eligibility for a scholarship has been certified by an approved institution becomes ineligible for a scholarship award before the expiration of the institution tuition refund period, the scholarship funds shall not be delivered to the student, but shall be returned to the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for deposit to the All Alabama Academic Team Recognition Scholarship Program account.
