Chapter 300-4-11 - ALL ALABAMA ACADEMIC TEAM RECOGNITION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM REGULATIONS
Section 300-4-11-.02 - Organization

(1) It is the responsibility of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education to establish policies and procedures for the implementation of the All Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program (AATRP). The All Alabama Academic Team Recognition Team Program is administered in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

(2) the Alabama commission on Higher Education Appoints such staff as are necessary to ensure efficient operation of the program.

(3) A Board of Directors shall be established for the All Alabama Academic Team Recognition Team Program.

(a) to assist in securing scholarship contribution;

(b) to advise the Alabama Commission on Higher Education concerning policies and procedures pertaining to All Alabama Academic Team Recognition Scholarship Program;

(c) to plan and conduct an annual recognition banquet for the All Alabama Team members.

(4) Membership on the Board of Directors, as outline din .02(3), shall consist of the following individuals:

(a) four two-year college presidents designated by the Chancellor of The Alabama College system;

(b) the President and Vice President of the Alabama Deans of Students Association;

(c) the President and Vice President of the Alabama Instructional Officers Association;

(d) the Regional Director of Phi Theta Kappa;

(e) the chair of the Education Committee of the Business Council of Alabama;

(f) the President of the Alabama Financial Management Association;

(g) a Department of Postsecondary Education staff member designated by the Chancellor of the Alabama College System; and,

(h) and Alabama Commission on Higher Education staff member designated by the Commission's Executive Director.
