Section 290-2-2-.03 - Requirements For A School To Be Classified As An Approved Center

(1) A school classified as an approved center must have the following minimum number of classroom teachers and students for grades taught at the school site:

One - Six 6 teachers and 120 students

Kindergarten - Six 7 teachers and 140 students

Kindergarten - Eight 9 teachers and 180 students

One - Eight 8 teachers and 160 students

Five - Eight 6 teachers and 120 students

Seven - Eight 4 teachers and 80 students

Seven - Nine 6 teachers and 175 students

One - Nine 12 teachers and 295 students

Kindergarten - Nine 13 teachers and 315 students

Ten - Twelve 6 teachers and 175 students

Nine - Twelve 8 teachers and 240 students

(2) A school with grades kindergarten through twelve must meet the minimum requirements for the grade ranges listed above. Example:

7 teachers and 140 students in grades K-6

6 teachers and 175 students in grades 7-9

6 teachers and 175 students in grades 10-12.
