Section 290-030-050-.10 - Violations And Penalties

It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any provisions of Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46. Any person required by Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46 to have a license or permit who shall do in Alabama any business of the nature described in Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46 without first obtaining a license or permit as required of him/her by Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00 in U. S. Currency) or a term of imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both. Each day's violation of Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46 shall constitute a separate offense. All fines shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Alabama State Department of Education to be expended by voucher approved by the State Superintendent of Education to administer Code of Ala. 1975, Title 16, Chapter 46.
