(1) Ex officio members will serve for the term they hold the specified office.

(2) The elected representative of each district dental society shall serve a term of four (4) years and be eligible for reelection. The terms of office are staggered so that two district representatives are elected to the Board each year. Currently the termination dates of the terms of office of the district representatives are: District 1 and 2 - 1982, District 3 and 4 - 1983, District 5 and 6 - 1984 and District 7 and 8 - 1981.

(3) Each district dental society shall determine the method and the time of electing its representative. Newly elected members of the Board will take office on May 1 of each year.
