Activities concerning client care that do not qualify as direct service. In general, the term is used to refer to time spent in management, administration, or other aspects of counseling service ancillary to direct service. The following would be considered indirect service:

(1) observing others providing counseling or related services,

(2) record keeping,

(3) administrative duties

(4) clinical and/or administration supervision.
