Pursuant to the Privacy Act of 1974 and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-108, notice is hereby given that the Office of Justice Programs (hereinafter OJP), a component within the United States Department of Justice (DOJ or Department), proposes to develop a new system of records notice titled Training and Technical Assistance Center Records, JUSTICE/OJP018. The OJP proposes to establish this system of records to manage data from individuals and organizations that may be providing or requesting training and technical assistance, as well as associated events and deliverables.

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A330-800 and A330-900 series airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of a protective cap found still in place on the drain hole of a fire extinguishing pipe, and by further investigations indicating these caps may have remained on other airplanes. This AD requires a one-time general visual inspection (GVI) of the engine fire extinguishing pipe drain hole and, depending on findings, removal of the protective cap, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is considering approval of a revision by Global Laser Enrichment, LLC (GLE) to a Standard Practice Procedures Plan (SPPP) for the protection of classified matter. The revision would remove the Fuels Growth Engineering (FGE) facility and confirm the continued use of the classified matter controls implemented at the Test Loop facility. The NRC staff is issuing an environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) associated with the proposed plans.

Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on September 12, 2024, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of LithiumHub, LLC of Norris, South Carolina; Lithiumhub Technologies, LLC of Marshall, Texas; and Mr. Martin Koebler of Norris, South Carolina. Supplements to the complaint were filed on September 30, October 2, and October 7, 2024. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain rechargeable batteries and components thereof by reason of the infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 9,412,994 ("the '994 patent") and U.S. Patent No. 9,954,207 ("the '207 patent"). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists or is in the process of being established as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
